Class: Blending - Connecticut Wine Meetup group

Welcome!

This class will be held in person only, from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, March 29th, 2025 for the Connecticut Wine Meetup group only. The location is Northeast Winemaking, 10 Robert Jackson Way, Plainville CT. 

We're going to cover a range of topics to give an idea of how and why wine blends happen, how to understand what you're getting when you buy a bottle, and a bit about the winemaker's thought process (including sipping). There will be sipping!

Some legal points, chemistry (nothing too challenging), and we will experience and discuss how a winemaker approaches finding the right blend. 

We'll have some simple neutral crackers to reset your taste buds, but encourage to come with a meal already in you. 

This should be fun and informative, and after an hour and a half of discussion and sipping, we'll open to questions and answers.
