Introduction to Winemaking and Hands on Winemaking Class
This is a two-part class
Saturday, May 5th, 2018 at 12:00 pm and Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at 12:00 pm and Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
Introduction to Winemaking basics class including a hands on interactive demonstration will be held at Northeast Winemaking, located at 10 Robert Jackson Way, Plainville, CT 06062. These classes will be limited to 10 people and a fee of $75 is required.
This class will be taught by Patrick Stauffer, our resident winemaker and wine consultant. We will cover the basics on what you need to know to make quality wines at home. The first class will conclude with making 2 batches of wine, utilizing our fresh Chilean juices. Approximately 4 months later the class will meet to bottle the wine and each participant will take home two bottles of each wine made. Topics will include…

Handouts will be provided, including a coupon towards the purchase of a winemaking equipment kit. Cheese, fruit and crackers will be provided, along with some wines available for tasting. We have plenty of parking spaces. Hope to see you there.
