California Harvest 2017

Mike, Joe, and Patrick are back from California...

The grapes are looking pretty good this year. The drought is finally over, and with a cool winter the vines finally had some down time to rest and recharge for this season.  The grapes that we looked at Harvest was already delayed by the cooler start to the season, but a late season heat wave further slowed things down. Despite the weather most red and white varieties are developing good color and sugar, and were developing fantastic flavor.

The grapes we have selected on out trip are excellent and won’t disappoint. We look forward to this year’s season and will do whatever we can to help you love the wine you make. Stop by to taste the rare wine grape we carry, Black Muscot; which we have once again increased our supply to keep up with the ever-increasing demand for it.

Please plan a visit to come to our wine making showroom in Plainville, right next to our tomato warehouse and meet our new wine consultant, Patrick. He is an avid wine maker and enthusiast, with extensive knowledge of winemaking.

Call ahead to place your order to reserve the highest quality grapes and juices.

Grapes and juices are here, with more varieties arriving each week. As always, we have selected some outstanding grapes this year and we recommend to place your
orders early.
